Comparing platforms like Facebook, users on Reddit have more privacy which means they do not need to provide too much personal identity to get a chance to post in the forum. I’m thinking of those sharing editing platforms that have a similar quality, which could be sort of “public” under certain circumstances, like Figma, miro, and Google Doc/Slides. For example, in Google Docs, users can type in the document with the link provided. The link can be a “chat room“, with a catalog that contains all the links, this could be a very basic chat room or forum like Reddit. Users can open the link in the incognito browser which gives them an extra shield of anonymity.
