Little Red Book, Xiaohongshu (Chinese: 小红书; pinyin: xiǎohóngshū), is a social media and e-commerce platform. Similar to the combination of Pinterest and Instagram, allowing users to post and recommend places, or review products.
70% of its users are reportedly born after 1990, and nearly 90% of them are females. The app allows users and influencers to post, discover and share product reviews, most frequently related to beauty and health. Travel bloggers are also known to regularly post content regarding tourism and leisure destinations on the platform.
For the moment, the major language used in this app is still Chinese
How to Access
The app is accessible through mobile devices, like iOS or Andriod
Users can log in with their WeChat, Weibo, or mobile number
For content creators, they can share their thoughts and review with words and images.
For viewers, they can selected what types of feed they want to look at, or they can look at the main page, which is the app provide you with feeds that you might like. Under each post, you can reply or interact with other replies of that post, and similar to all other social media platforms, users can send messages toward other users.
